Jamaica are on course to retain their CFU Caribbean Cup title after beating French Guiana 4-2 on penalties on Thursday night in Martinique to secure a place in the final. The two were locked at 1-1 after regulation and extra time.
Loiic Baal gave French Guiana a 21st minute lead which was cancelled out by Jermaine âTeddyâ Johnson in the 70th minute as the Jamaicans pulled level.
The Reggae Boyz finished with ten men as Ladale Ritchie was red carded in first half extra time. Martinique were leading Curacao 1-0 at half-time in the second semi-final on Thursday night. The final is set for Sunday.
